To those of you who have  purchased my greeting cards, thank you for making them such a great success in such a short time! It has been very fulfilling for me to merge my works of art with my inspiration and to share them with so many.

                                

                          A Unique Process 

 

Each work starts out as a one-of-a-kind print called a monotype. By scratching into a sheet of inked plexiglass with a palette knife, an initial sketch is created. The plexiglass sketch is then pressed into a sheet of paper which causes boundaries to be broken and perfectly defined marks to be altered. The vague impression that is created is just the beginning of possibilities. This process of reverse application is challenging because it encourages spontaneous work and expressive mark making.
